To find out whether your claim is covered under your plan, you should read the Terms and Conditions of your plan carefully, as it describes in detail your coverage and any exclusion that may apply to your plan.

Q: Should I make a claim for a minor loss?
The choice to make a claim is a very personal one. You may want to consider the cost of the loss or damage, in comparison with your plan deductible amount. If the amount is minor, you may wish to refrain from making a claim.
  
Q: What information do I require to intimate a claim?
  • Your name and address
  • Your ID type and number
  • General loss information (Claim amount-Location- Date of loss-Nature of loss)
  • Your Takaful Plan number
Q: What is the next step after I report a claim?
A SABB Takaful claim professional will review your claim report and initiate the claim process. If you have any questions after completing your claim report, you can speak to our claims representative by calling 800 126 0006 and selecting Option 5.
 
Q: How do I get my Claim Number?
By calling our Customer Care Centre at800 126 0006and select Option5.
 
Q: What is Depreciation?
A decrease or loss in value of an item as a result of age, wear and tear, or market conditions.
 
Q: What is a Plan Deductable?
A Plan deductable is an amount of covered loss that is deducted by the insurance company before a payment is made.
 
Q: I am traveling outside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and I have a claim to make. What should I do? (Travel TakafulPlan)

Q: I have just discovered a break-in/theft in my house. What do I need to do?(Home Takaful Plan)
First, remain calm. Then take the following steps:
  1. Don’t touch anything and contact the police to fill out a report
  2. All thefts must be reported to the police
  3. If items have been stolen, try to make a brief initial list to provide to the police officer. Your list can be updated if additional items/damages are later discovered

  • You have to complete the claim form and submit it with the requested document as soon as possible
  • In case of Home Takaful Plan claim, you have to protect your property from further damage
  • Keep the receipts of all the items purchased for future proof of purchase
